MCO 3.0: General Guidelines and Forward Action for IDP Sem. II 2020/21
Complexity Elements Students and supervisors must ensure complexity elements are embedded in the project.
Project Output/ Expectation - The final output should be “physical prototype” only. A small-scale mock-up prototype is acceptable. - The prototype should show the functionality of the actual product. - The lecturers and panels are well informed and understand about your constraints to fabricate the prototype. Hence, students are expected to show your project achievement based on non-MCO weeks. In presentation video, you need to present a Gantt Chart showing the plan vs. actual of your prototype fabrication. To be fair, the lecturers and panels will evaluate your prototype achievement based plan vs. actual during the non-MCO weeks only.
Video Presentation and Evaluation - Please refer to video presentation rubric to know details of contents and scoring. - Students need to record their presentation video. Then upload the video file on YouTube. Please submit the YouTube link to U-Learn. - Maximum video duration is 10 minutes. - Evaluation will be performed through online. Panels/ judges will post their questions on “comments” section of YouTube. - Students should alert and need to reply the questions immediately.
Report Writing - Please include the “Concepts Selection Matrix” as available in your PDM report. This is a concern from the FKP Industry Advisory Panels. - Please refer to report evaluation rubric to know details of contents and scoring.
Compilation of Document - All groups need to compile all the documents (proposal, peer review, log book, presentation video, poster, CAD drawing and final report) and submit via U-Learn.
